Description
A Simple Landscape. India ink and acrylic paint on a thin sheet of birch wood. Working with a very bright color palate, the first step was to apply india ink to the wood panel, without any priming. This allows the colors to bleed and spread into the grain of the wood as a sort of wash application. There is NO CONTROL over line edge or thickness. Acrylic paint was then used to complete the landscape, with attention to the relationship and positioning of color in this simple, but cheerful landscape.
