Description
Commonwealth. A variety of pens and ink on sketchbook paper. I continue to try to improve drawing people who are not posing. Completed over a handful of visits, my challenge with this piece was to identify a person (or dog!) and try to place the figure in a way so the composition of the piece continues to work well, and the piece remains visually inviting. Moxie Mercantile and adjacent architecture are shown in the background. How do you feel about this piece? What is the main focal point of this drawing to you?
