Waiting for Mona. Artistic photography, by Robert Yaeger, as taken in Paris, France. A fascinating scene, as a mass of people wait patiently to gain an up close glimpse of the world's most famous painting, by Leonardo da Vinci. Selective color was chosen to dramatically enhance the attention on these two distinctly different periods in time. The use of color serves as a magnet to initially draw the viewer's attention. Upon realizing the Mona Lisa is (intentionally) out of focus, attention should shift to the highly detailed crowd in black and white. What does this say to you? Your comments are welcome.
